The Boondockers will be holding a fundraiser for the Badger Honor Flight at our car show.  We hope to fundraise enough money to sponsor a veteran's trip to Washington DC.  As part of this fundraiser we are making storybook characters with a hot rod theme suitable for hanging that we will auction off at the car show.  When these are completed we will post pictures so you can see in advance what they look like.  We will also accept any other cash donations.  To send one veteran costs $500.  According to the Badger Honor Flight website, "Our (Badger Honor Flight) funding comes primarily from individuals across the country who recognize the great accomplishments and sacrifices of veterans and want them to see their memorials before it’s too late. Other significant contributors have been fraternal organizations like local American Legion, VFW, AMVETS, DAV, and MOPH posts and chapters, as well as various corporations on a local level."
